Hi!
This is a glimpse into the sometime scary and wonderful world of starting a business for no other reason than to exercise many years of pent up creativity and to escape the dreary realm of manual labor.
Hi, My name is Bill and I've been a stone mason for the last nine years of my life. Don't get me wrong masonry is a noble profession and takes real skill and years of training but it just never fit me. All my life growing up all I wanted to do was draw. I spent most of my high school years setting my self up to go to art school. Thats what I wanted and that's what I was going to do.
Call it lack of direction, call it lack of devotion or maybe it was just that I thought freelancing or landing a job with a good creative company was just too tough but the chips didn't fall that way and I got a sensible job making sensible money instead.
Finally something inside me was not satisfied being quiet any longer and the creative monster inside roared to life and pushed me to quit what was steady income and hard earned skill. Now I find myself in a sink or swim situation, learning about business and stretching my dollar. I started a small t-shirt, vinyl signs and graphics company with the help of my nephew, my idea and web guy.
Stickercharged. The word gets tossed around forums and automotive chat rooms, referring to vehicles often with more stickers and decals than power. Jokes about stickers adding horsepower abound. I like this word. To me it's an opportunity to market nicely designed graphics not just for your car but anywhere you want to express yourself. I want to take away the stigma that decals on your car is bad and remind people that self expression and unique style is grood, err good and great.
If you have any interest in setting your self or your vehicle apart from the endless sea of brand names and jelly beans on wheels, then check out our stickers and our up coming t-shirt line at:
